Power of a Prayer Offered in Faith

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

In Dharamshala we spent the first 4 hours in the time of prayer and intercession every morning. We prayed for local Tibetans, Indians, Buddhist monks, Dalai Lama, local laborers for the gospel as well as all the people we encounter and befriend throughout the day. In the afternoons we volunteered at English conversation classes for Tibetans and monks where many of us had opportunity to share our testimonies. We also have been meeting these students outside of the class to share more in depth of the story of the Son of Man. Most of them are intrigued and drawn to the message of Grace, as it is beyond their comprehension in the culture of merit.

We also took every opportunity to talk to shop owners, waiters and waitress at the restaurants and foreigners we meet at these places. This is truly a ripe place for a harvest. It is dwelling place for Tibetan Buddhist, Tibetan refugees, Kashmir, Indians, and foreign travelers who are looking for enlightenment. Many of them are hungry and searching. It’s like going fishing on small pond that is full of fish. You will always catch something.

But our true impact is coming from a place of prayer. His Spirit is wind, fire and earthquake as well as a still small voice. Every morning we had been laboring in a place of prayer, worship and intercession to bring wind, fire and earthquake to the spiritual atmosphere. Then we go out in the afternoons and are the stewards of His Still Small Voice.

Much of our time in Dharamshala was an act of faith. Without faith when praying it was impossible to shift history. Since we believed by faith and expected what we were interceeding for, I know that the Lord is responding. It is HIS actual heart's cry that we are just repeating back to Him, agreeing with His will. Our team did not see many prayers answered while we were there but we did prepare the way and toil the ground further to make the way for the Lord. We are confident that establishing a house of prayer here is the burning desire of God's heart. It was a huge blessing to be a part of the pioneering stage of the house of prayer.

Meet the team

India here we come!!! Eleven days to go and our feet will be on new land. "How beautiful are the feet of those that bring the good news!"
I'm incredibly blessed to have a solid team that I am confident God will do more things then I could imagine!

Please pray for:

Unity, Protection, Wisdom, that the Word would dwell in us, that we would have Teachable Hearts, Humility, Pure Love of Christ reigning in our hearts, and that our desires would be the Lord's desires.

This is my co-leader, Una Han. A woman of fire. She brings TRUTH and carries the authority of God wherever she goes. She is led by the Spirit and is hilarious. I'm so blessed to be leading this solid team with her!

Please Pray for:

Supernatural Health, Una tends to get spiritually attacked in that way. Pray for our leadership to be cultivated in the place of a servants heart. Also that we would not move at all without the Holy Spirit leading us.

Our team will be staying in 2 different locations. Our first location is Visakhapatnam. This city is listed in the 100 fastest growing cities in the world. Visakhapatnam derives its name from the "god" Visakha in Hindu mystology, or the "god" of courage. Hinduism and Bhuddism are 2 active religions. India has over 330 million gods. This city is also the fourth largest harbour in India and also is a industrial sector. We will be doing many things in Visakhapatnam including: ministry in leprosy colonies, orphanages, planting simple churches, Bible distributions, teaching the Word of God, evangelizing to unreached unengaged people groups that have never heard the gospel. We will be taking EVERY opportunity to share the good news.

The Second location we will be headed to is Dharamsala or Dharamshala. This city is located in northern India. This town is known as the capital of the Central Tibetan Administration. The current and 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, leads this Tibetan government. We will be evangelizing to the Tibetan people. During our time in Dharamsala we will be planting a house of prayer. In Isaiah 56:7 God clearly states His house will be a house of prayer for all nations. We are excited to plant our first to many prayer houses!

Please pray audaciously for:

1.) Salvation of Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso.
2.) Salvation of many Tibetans
3.) Salvation of many Indians
4.) Healings & Miracles in Jesus name.
5.) Spiritual Warfare against the other gods and religions
6.) More prayer houses, simple churches, orphanages, restoration places for sex trafficked victims to be established.

Thank you for your partnership to run with this team! We are honored to have people fighting for us, for those coming alongside and making a HUGE difference in the spiritual realm and the lives of many!

Love you all dearly,

Elizabeth

"Delight in His Way"

Almost 2 years ago,April 2010, when I did my first DTS (Discipleship Training School) I wanted to go to India for my outreach. The Lord was telling me to go to Haiti. I argued with Him for a while but knew I had obey.

Through my experience in Haiti God gave me a greater understanding of what it means to love through sacrafice and what dependence on God truly is. Now, He is giving me an opportunity 2 years later to travel to India with a vision I didn't have before.

Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall grant you the desires and secret petitions of your heart."

God's heart is for Muslims, Hindu's, New Age believers, and ALL OTHERS to enter into a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. In India, we'll be caring for orphans with the love of Christ. Our goal will be to find sponsors so they will not be bound into sex trafficking. We will find the lost, love the broken, touch the hurting, and value the outcast for HIS name sake.

It's all about HIM. JESUS. GOD. HOLY SPIRIT. THE KINGDOM. HIS VISION. HIS HEART. HIS THOUGHTS. HIS EMOTIONS. HIS DESIRES.
ONLY HE CAN MAKE MIRACLES. ONLY HE CAN RAISE THE DEAD. ONLY HE CAN TOUCH THE BROKEN. ONLY HE CAN SAVE THE LOST. ONLY HE CAN BRING VALUE TO THE OUTCAST. ONLY HE CAN RESCUE PRISONERS FROM BONDAGE. AND HE DOES IT FOR HIS NAME SAKE ALONE.

It is for the glory of God that we GO.

I will be leaving in 5 weeks and are finalizing the plane tickets this week. The specific date will be announced shortly.

Please consider supporting me in prayer and giving a donation as the Holy Spirit leads. You will be making a difference eternally. Any amount helps but my long term goal is to have partners that will be faithful to walk with me monthly. If you would like to donate, please contact me: ElizabethLoebs@gmail.com or 704-576-2959.

Love you all,

Elizabeth

Abba Father

Welcome, welcome!
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog! It has been 6 days since moving into my new home. I love it here. When I got into my room peace just flooded the place. I am so glad I'm here. Everyone has invited me in and even though the i2i DTS started 2 weeks before I arrived, I have been making genuine frienships.

Kansas City doesn't have much but everything that is vital is present. Jesus, relationships, prayer.

God has been showering me with blessings.

Glory of the Lord

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 NASB)

This amazes me. That we, who are in Christ, may reflect our Creator. Yet, were made for that VERY purpose...to reflect.

I think back to the story in Exodus 33 when Moses asks the Lord to show His glory. The Lord responded "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live". Then the Lord said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; by my face must not be seen." (v. 21-23)

Now years later when Jesus walked the Earth, after He died and rose again, He left us promising the Holy Spirit. Paul writes about the Glory of the New Covenant in 2 Corinthians chapter 3. WOOOHOOO! Now, we don't have to be like Moses having to put a veil over our faces to cover the glory of the Lord. We are being transformed by the Lord, who is the Spirit, into His likeness with ever increasing glory!! ahhhh! Blows me away. I am in love. He chooses us.

Here are some of my favorite songs right now. I encourage you to worship in His glorious presence!

  • "I'm in Love With You" by Klaus ft. Kari Jobe
  • "One Thirst" by Bethel & Jeremy Riddle
  • "Love Came Down" by Brian Johnson

Last Thurs. guest speaker was the Paul of today.

Last Thursday the guest speaker was amazing. He told his testimony but in the beginning definately had my attention because this is what they showed before he came to speak:
(watch it)

Michael Franzese, an Ex-Colombo family mobster, and former mafia boss is now a born-again christian! He LOVES Jesus! It was so amazing to hear his testimony. He shared his life verse: "When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7
This verse is so evident in his walk with the Lord! It shows the faithfulness of God on Michael's life and the faithfulness of God's word! With the discipleship program at the Dream Center, and over 200 of them being addicted to something, he had a huge impact on them. Michael was able to show them how God can still use if only you are willing.

Friday was a long day. We had Adopt A Block in the morning, getting items together to help the communities all over L.A. There were a bunch of items people requested, and we put together bags to bring them for Saturday. So we sorted diapers, shampoo, hair dye boxes, band-aids, toothpaste, etc. The main item the community was in need of were diapers, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Later on we went to Jonah Project. They are a non-profit, non-denominational organization located on Skid Row in L.A. The Dream Center partners with them during the week to make a difference on Skid Row. The building just opens up so the homeless can come in and pretty much do whatever. When we arrived, it seemed very chill. There were tables and chairs, couches, a little bar where coffee is served for free. Then the farther you walk in there are chairs set up across from a stage with instruments and mics. Wednesday and Friday nights Pastor Patrick has a service. There was a man on the piano, putting other homeless people to sleep. They are able to rest and not worry in this place. We served free cupcakes and coffee to those who wanted it. I ended up helping a women get some free shoes and clothes in the back. They allow men to get 2 items, and women 6 items. The reason women get more is because more womens clothes is donated.

Later on that night, we went back for the service. Before the service started we went out on Skid Row to talk to the people, and ask if any would like prayer. We met a lot of interesting people. One woman prayed a beautiful prayer from her heart and even touched the hearts of those living around her. The service was really cool. You can find out more info on the Jonah Project here: http://www.jonahproject.com/
It is an amazing work that they do here.

Sunday Pastor Matthew spoke about worry. WOW, it was so good! He talked about living under the 24hrs. of grace each day that we are given. Praise God His mercies truly are new every morning! It reminded me to make the most of everything that happens during the day. Even the little things that annoy me, to praise God for them. Finding joy in all circumstances, because of who I am found in, having hope, and certainty that God works all things for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28)
